Finding Faithfulness is the home of Joshua Weir’s writing from the last decade. Merging articles written for other organizations and publications, as well as the convergence of His prior blogs Conversations in Community and The Issue at Hand. Josh is an author and speaker with a broad body of experience partnering with innovative people in high-impact environments. He has worked with a variety of individuals and organizations over the years, encouraging others toward thoughtful, integrated perspectives through their values, faith, and experience; equipping transformed people to cultivate impact in the world. Josh has been writing faith-based content for over three decades — online, in print, and curriculum for religious and educational organizations. He is also a big proponent of classical Christian education, knowing that an integrated understanding of our existence begins with the fear of the Lord and a Christ-centered worldview.

In seeking to find faithfulness, we have to look upward rather than inward. Some of the main areas we look to are in community, the centrality of God in a believer’s life, exhorting others to maturity in Christ, and the transformation of our minds through the Word of God in Bible study. As believers, we are called to be transformed by the renewing of our minds, in Christ. As we allow our thoughts, feelings, and desires to be submitted to the Almighty, we find that faithfulness is not always as easy as it sounds. Christ commended people for their faith and hope in the reconciliation to wholeness that only comes through Him. As we recognize that kind of faithfulness growing in our lives, we seek it all the more. 

The efforts put forward here are intended to stir hearts and minds toward the faithful pursuit of the Almighty. In a world full of faithlessness, confusion, disillusionment, and doubt we need to find regular encouragement that challenges us toward goodness in Him, hope in his provision, and peace in his presence.
