The Community
of the Faithful

The greatest temptation facing the world today is illusion. The 21st century has been an era in which many people feel overwhelmed, isolated, and pulled in myriad directions. Illusion has permeated almost every avenue of society; proliferating fake news, curating bespoke identities, promoting self-centered pursuits of purpose, and elevating relativistic values that tear down the moorings of truth, morality, and community. We live in an age where existential crises come in waves, punctuated by social and political division, as well as the deconstruction of values that undergird reality as it is. The rise in suicide, alcoholism, depression, and identity confusion suggests there is much more happening beneath the surface. Rather than live in the delusion of personal perspective, we need to rediscover the solid foundations that anchor reality and allow that to transform our hearts and empower our future.

The Community of the Faithful explores who we are, how we see ourselves, and how that influences the communities we belong to. It seeks pathways to healthy relationships, integrated perspectives of ultimate reality, and genuine hope, rooted in truth rather than relativism. This revealing journey engages the meaningful aspects of life, belief, and values, opening doors to peace and contentment. In a world torn by division and hostility, faithfulness in community helps us engage with reality in ways that empower our experience and cultivate impact in our culture. This second edition has been updated and expanded to engage with the next quarter of the 21st century and help a new generation experience the truth, beauty, and goodness we were intended to.
